The Job:

HOYTS is on the lookout for a Sales & Events Executive to join our Corporate Solutions team on a fixed-term contract. This role can be based in Sydney (NSW) or Melbourne (VIC).

As our Sales & Events Executive, you’ll bring to life the magic and possibilities of hosting events in our cinema spaces. You’ll build meaningful client relationships, understand their vision, and go above and beyond to deliver exceptional event experiences. You’ll also be supported by a Sales Coordinator to help set you up for success.

• Bringing in revenue from the sale of our cinema venues for bespoke events
• Upselling HOYTS product offerings such as food and beverage
• Bringing on new business and reactivating previous clientele 
• Implementing sales strategies that lead to increased revenue
• Liaising with the sites and clients to ensure events are executed perfectly

Who we are looking for:

It goes without saying you’ll have excellent people skills and a talent for developing fruitful relationships. Experience in event sales would be highly regarded but we value transferable skills.

We are also looking for:

• Previous experience in sales or events is a must
• Excellent organisation skills with a focus on delivering against deadlines
• The ability to follow KPIs and prioritise tasks to reach targets
• Experience in business development or client management is highly beneficial
• Tertiary qualification in business, commerce or sales is desirable
• A natural communicator focused on providing an excellent service
